The new Ofsted inspection framework demonstrates greater focus on how well schools and Academies are effectively working with parents. In addition, the recent launch of their new Parent View website allows parents to voice opinions on your school online and even lead to triggering an inspection. Dr. Anthony Feiler from the University of Bristol and author of ‘Engaging ‘hard to reach’ parents: teacher parent collaboration to promote children’s learning’ will demonstrate effective practical strategies to cross cultural and class barriers and engage all parents drawing from his research from UK wide school projects.
