Reviewing an exclusion
The governing body must review certain exclusions and must consider any representations about an exclusion made by the parents of the excluded pupil. It must decide whether or not to reinstate the pupil, if appropriate, or whether the headteacher and or teacher in charge's decision to exclude the pupil was justified and appropriate.
