Give your students the training to become emotionally literate adults
The Emotional Curriculum for Early Teens is an emotional literacy programme for KS3, providing teachers with a flexible and comprehensive approach to promoting emotional literacy education and protecting the emotional wellbeing of early teens in their care.
Spending time focusing on emotional intelligence ensures that pupils start to take an active interest in their own learning. Pupils who are more emotionally aware will interact better as a group, meaning there are fewer disruptions. The school will become a more welcoming environment, making it easier for pupils and staff to work together as well as helping to tackle issues such as bullying.
It has therefore never been more important for you to ensure that pupils in your care have adequate training to become emotionally literate and enthusiastic learners.
