Fantastic ideas that help all teachers have the confidence to deliver whole school assemblies on a variety of subjects that are of interest to the children."
Julie Leeman, Snitterfield Primary School

"Thought provoking assemblies (matched to the children's age/ ability) in an easily accessible format that can be delivered with minimum preparation, whilst still delivering a high quality assembly."
Kate Williamson, Deputy Head teacher, Brompton-on-Swale CE Primary

Good variety of ideas-my kids particularly enjoyed the story about the parrot in Japan which escaped and was found injured, but had memorised its address and so returned to its owner. Kate McEvoy, Head teacher, St Peter's Brafferton CE VA Primary

A brilliant start point for developing presentations to a whole school audience.  I like the fact that sometimes they can be followed 'to the letter' or allow me to put my 'own spin' on them. Maggi Mcphee, Deputy headteacher, Loirston School

Primary Assemblies are the best thing since sliced bread - such a help for overworked, busy classroom teachers. Thank you to all who contribute.
Diana Railton, Woodford C of E Primary School, Woodford, Kettering, Northants

  • Save you time - most assemblies will only take a few minutes to prepare.
  • Provide inclusive assemblies for all - all assemblies are of the highest quality, and will contribute to students spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.

Summary of contents

Assembly is a key vehicle through which the leadership team expresses and shares the school's values, setting them out for adults as well as for the children. At The Primary Assembly Collection, we recognise this and every assembly provides support for it, in content, tone and style.

We provide themes and stories that will help you to not only support the SEAL programme and also provide thoughtful acts of worship that reflect our multicultural and multifaith society. Individuality and difference is discussed and celebrated in ways that will help you deliver your statutory requirements both thoughtfully and enjoyably. Because we know how busy primary school life can be, each assembly is written so that it can be delivered at very short notice.
A subscription to The Primary Assembly Collection includes:
  • Access to a comprehensive online searchable library of past assemblies from the subscriber-only website
  • A new topical e-assembly delivered to your inbox each week
  • Each month, topical new assemblies with engaging supporting images will be added to the website
  • Furthermore, the latest set of assemblies will be added into the searchable library where you can either search by topic, age group, past issue numbers orsimply free search

Time saving assemblies

I frequently don’t have the time to plan my assemblies in much detail, but the assemblies provided in the ‘Primary Assembly Collection’ are well-pitched, well-researched and bang up-to-date. The vast selection available through the subscribers’ website means that there is always something suitable, or at the very least a host of great ideas. Two thumbs up from this busy Deputy Head!
