Each chapter offers very clear practical strategies that can be tried in a classroom without further training or expensive resources, as well as helpful references and web links to enable further research, if required. This book will provide practitioners with the knowledge they need to be able to create an inclusive learning environment for all of their pupils.

Frequently parents, carers and the pupil himself will know so much about the individual need that, whilst you can learn from them, your lack of knowledge does not always enable you to offer the pupil the best, most professional support immediately.
