I have pupils who are getting regular counselling sessions from our Parent & Child Support Officer. She is a qualified child counsellor, these pupils have a range of emotional issues based mainly around problems at home, should they be on my SEN register?

Should pupils with behavioural needs be at SA? We have many pupils in this category. They also have a PSP. Do they need to be on the provision list and have a PSP? I want to reduce my list based on the new changes.

As a new SENCo, I've inherited quite a few SEN pupils on our Provision List. Some at School Action Plus are, in my opinion, not SEN - they just have medical issues such as asthma. Can I simply remove them from my list?

If a child has difficulty pronouncing, reading and writing words accurately, would hearing and sight tests at age four be sufficient to show no issues in these areas, or should they be repeated now he is eight-years-old?
